About Grant Millin, SPS CEO
Grant pursues solutions to negative risks in both business and the community systems around us, and seeks to optimize positive alternative roadmaps using innovation tools. Disseminating verifiable, utilitarian and sustaining solutions that increase value for organizations and communities are his passion.
His interests in innovation and communications come from analyzing markets, organizations, as well as technological, social, and sustainability trends. “I enjoy identifying what’s missing in terms of renewal leadership and inadequate messages. Developing higher value outcomes based on positive innovations is usually the work that needs to be done at the core of leadership and communications dilemmas.”
The area of climate change technology is an important subject for Grant in terms of national and international strategy, and at an entrepreneurial level. He served as the NC project manager for the US Hydrogen Road Tour and produced and participated in the Forum on Smart Grid and Hydrogen Economies at Duke University. Whether personally, or through SPS, Grant provides pro bono services to various WNC community organizations.
At a systems level, he believes that rising to the challenge of innovating the many potential payoffs found in accurately addressing anthropogenic climate change has many attributes for politics, economics, national security, meeting basic human needs… and even spiritual advantages. His education includes an Interdisciplinary Studies – Independent Degree in Sustainability and Security Studies BA, a Master of Entrepreneurship and Master of Project Management.
Grant has over 15 years of sales, business and media project experience involving a variety of clients: http://www.sunprojectsystems.com/about/ . His background includes supporting and executing a wide variety of business projects including marketing and management consulting situations.
